The first ever Scooby-Doo show was aired in September of 1969. (that
is before I was born by the way). Though there where 7 different series
of the show shown, the best was still the first. I will still give you
the scoop on all 7 series.
Scooby Doo Where Are You?:
This was the very first series aired in 1969, and I still believe
to be the best, but that is just my opinion you will have to make your
own. This started the original gang of Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Velma
and Daphne. In each episode the gang had to solve some sort of mystery,
which always involved people in some sort of monster costumes, of course
Scooby and Shaggy thought they were real monsters and wanted nothing
to do with it, but the rest of the gang made them stay and help. The
mysteries where always solved, but not before Scooby and Shaggy caused
some sort of trouble.
The Scooby Doo Show:
This was mostly the same as Scooby Doo Where Are You? This makes you
wonder why did they change the name... Will we ever know.
The Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show:
This show introduced Scrappy, but dropped the rest of the gang, except
for Scooby-Doo and Shaggy of course. In this show they didn't really
solve mysteries just got into a lot of trouble, with real ghost and
monsters. (Oh ya, they Lost the mystery machine)
The New Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show:
This is almost the same as The Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show, except
that Daphne suddenly came back with the Mystery Machine.
The New Scooby Doo Mysteries:
This was just a big change in name, basically the same cartoon as
The New Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show, I am starting to wonder about those
producers.......
The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo:
Here enters Vincent Van Ghoul. Scooby ends up releasing 13 ghosts
from an evil chest and Scooby needs the gang to help him put them back
in again. This time the gang consists of Shaggy, Scrappy, Daphne, and
of course Scooby Doo. And for some reason Shaggy and Daphne have changed
there looks.
A Pup Named Scooby Doo:
Well this was just one big flop in my mind, they just turned the gang
into little kids. I guess they just wanted to rip off the other cartoons
of the time.
Well I told you there were a lot of Scooby Doo Series, and now they
are making some films, and I will tell you about them after I watch
them another 60 times or so.
